DYFA/WSJFL REGISTRATION FOR 2018 SEASON

For the 2018 season, we’re asking that you print the registration form—which has two sides—fill it out completely, and submit it either by mail to DYFA, PO Box 1995, Dearborn, MI, 48121-1995, or in person at the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center during one of several “Registration Nights” that will be scheduled during the next few months.

To reserve an initial spot on the roster for your child, you must submit a completed registration form and the appropriate registration fee (Dependant on franchise).  If you submit the aforementioned by mail, you must pay by check or money order.  If you submit these materials in person on a “Registration Night,” you may pay with cash, check or money order.   This year, we will not accept payment with credit or debit cards.

To complete the registration process, you are required to submit (1) proof of residence, (2) a copy of your child’s birth certificate, (3) a signed copy of the Concussion Awareness form (available on our website) and (4) proof that your child has undergone a physical exam after March 15, 2018 has been cleared to participate.  These must be submitted before your child participates in any practice.  If your child is a returning player, you should have already complied with requirements 1-3.

All participants are also required to purchase $100 worth of raffle tickets and post a $100 deposit (If applicable).  Previous participants should already have posted this $100 deposit, however, if you forfeited your deposit or any portion of your deposit, you must submit the additional funds.

Based upon roster numbers from last season, we anticipate that the Tractors’ JV roster is going to fill up, as are the Freshman and JV rosters for the Thunderbirds.  Since registration is on a first-come, first-served basis, we urge you to register for these squads as soon as possible.

Please check with your respective Franchises for upcoming Registration dates and times.
