2013 Football & Cheerleading Registration
Welcome to the DYFA
registration page.
We have three teams—Freshmen, ages 8-9; Junior Varsity,
ages 10-11 and Varsity, ages 12-13.
Please note that these ages refer to the age of
our participants on
December 1, 2013.
Beginning on December 1, 2012, we will accept
registrations for the 2013 season from current football
players, cheerleaders and mascots, as well as new
eight-year old football players (age as of December 1,
2013) and new cheerleaders.
To assure your child of an
initial spot on next year’s roster, you must complete
the following three steps no later than March 10, 2013:
(1) Pay the registration fee ($100 for football
players/$50 for cheerleaders) at the time of
registration.
(2) Post a deposit ($100 for football players/$50 for
cheerleaders).
If you fulfilled your Parent Service Time
obligation and if you returned all equipment/uniforms on
November 18 (see above) in a clean and acceptable
condition, your current deposit will automatically be
rolled over to next season.
If you forfeited your deposit because you failed
to complete your Parent Service Time requirement or
because you failed to turn in all equipment on November
18 in a clean and acceptable condition, you must post a
new deposit when registering for next season by
EQUIPMENT HAND-OUT.
(3) Purchase raffle tickets ($100).
If you have more than two participants in our
program, you only need to purchase raffle tickets for
the first two. Raffle ticket
payment is not due until EQUIPMENT HAND-OUT.
If you, as the parent of a
returning player, do not complete the requirements noted
above by the deadline, your child will forfeit his/her
spot on the roster on March 11.
On March 11, 2013, open registration for children
residing within franchise territory will begin on a
first-come, first-served basis, pending the availability
of roster spots.
New players residing
outside of franchise territory are not eligible to
register or join a waitlist until July 1, 2013, pending
the availability of roster space.
If your child will not be returning for the 2013 season,
you may request a refund of your security deposit after
November 18 by filling out and mailing the Refund
Request form, located on our web site
(www.dearborntractors.org), to DYFA,
PO Box 1995,
Dearborn, MI. 48121-1995.
Refunds will be processed in January of 2013.
